If you have no heating or hot water you are our priority. We carry & source parts locally for all major manufacturers. Simon & Peter have fixed thousands of boilers so you are in good hands.

Boiler Servicing

No matter what type or age of your boiler, it’s recommended that you have an annual service carried out.

An annual service gives peace of mind the boiler is safe to operate for another year. It can also pick up small problems before they cause breakdowns & ensure the boiler is running at its optimum efficiency.

What does a boiler service involve?

Manufacturers and Gas Safe recommend boilers are inspected every 12 months to check safe operation and performance.

A regular annual service appointment is 40-60 minutes and includes:

CO sweep testing to confirm no leaks of harmful flue gases
Flue gas combustion analysis – adjustment where necessary
Testing of flame failure safety devices
Check for water leaks
Cleaning of condensate trap – if necessary
Cleaning of magnetic filters – age dependent
Test gas consumption and inlet pressures
Completion of service log paperwork if present.

Some manufacturers recommend a more in-depth service takes place at 5-10 year intervals including the cleaning of the combustion chamber, replacement of gaskets/seals and possibly the electrodes.

This service takes approximately 90-120 minutes.

A full service report will be emailed as a PDF with your invoice and will be kept against your customer profile for future reference.

Your invoice can be paid by secure card payment link or bank transfer.

You will receive email confirmation of your booking, a text message reminder the day before your appointment, and an annual service reminder.

All our boiler Worcester Bosch boiler installation come with up to 12 years parts & labour guarantee free to charge plus the year service included*.

*subject to annual servicing. Guarantee is 7 years for 2000 range, 10 years for Ri, 4000, and CDi ranges, & 12 years for the 8000 series.

The Boilersmith Ltd take safety seriously & are on the Gas Safe Register.

Gas Safe Register is the official gas safety organisation in Great Britain.

It replaced CORGI on 1st April 2009. Gas Safe Register is responsible for the registration & regulation of gas engineers. Membership is mandatory for any company or engineer working with gas appliances.
